I think the majority of us grew up watching Sesame Street, Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood, The Electric Company. These days PBS has so much more to offer including online games.
Lego has also expanded to be more than a few blocks for building jets and jeeps. Check out their game page!
Word puzzles are a great way to have fun while practicing vocabulary and spelling. Here’s a couple of sites with free word search puzzles here and free crossword puzzles here. I know my older son was more eager to do these as homework than writing out sentences using vocabulary words. He still needs to practice writing but these puzzles are a great way to break up the monotony that homework can be sometimes.
